Day 1: Arrival Amman – Amman Hotel Upon arrival to Queen Alia Airport our representative will meet you with a signage at the immigration. Transfer to the hotel in Amman for overnight.
Day 2: Amman Hotel – Madaba – Mt Nebo – Dead Sea - Amman Hotel (B) After breakfast we drive to Madaba, to see the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George's church. We head to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the promised land before he died. You visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of Israel. Then onto the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea, where you have leisure time and the chance to float on water. Overnight Amman hotel.
Day 3: Amman Hotel – Allenby Bridge - Jerusalem Visit – Jerusalem Hotel (B) Pick up from the hotel, drive to the Allenby Brigdge to cross int Israel/Palestine. Arriving in Jerusalem the tour begins with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. Continue for a walking tour of the Old City which includes Mount Zion, the Cardo, Via Dolorosa (The stations of the Cross), the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall. Overnight Jerusalem Hotel.
Day 4: Jerusalem Hotel – Masada – Allenby Bridge – Petra Hotel (B) Pick up from your hotel and drive via the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea area. Visit Masada (ascend/decent by cable car), the fortress of King Herod and the last stronghold of the Zealots. Back to Allenby Bridge to cross into Jordan, travel southwards to Petra hotel.
Day 5: Petra Visit – Amman Hotel (B) Today visit the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire. You can start the trip on horse back or by foot to the canyon, the so called Siq, and then walk to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. From here you explore the city by yourself, you can see the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. In the afternoon return to hotel in Amman for overnight.
Day 6: Amman City Tour – Jerash – Amman Hotel (B) 08:00 start the day with a city tour in Jordan's capital. Amman, already mentioned in the Bible as Rabbath Ammon, is a bustling modern city. The historical places are located in downtown, where we visit the Citadel with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period. Then we have a round in the Archaeological Museum, housing an excellent collection like several Dead Sea Scrolls. We stroll via the Souq, where you get an idea of everyday life, to the Roman Theatre from 2nd century with 6000 seats. Afterwards to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East comprising paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, handsome theatres, and spacious public squares and plazas. Overnight Amman hotel.
Day 7: Amman Hotel – Amman Airport (B) After breakfast transfer to QAI Airport to say farewell and board your flight.
