Day 1: Arrival Amman - Amman Hotel
Our representative welcomes you with a signage after you exit the customs area Amman Airport. Transfer about 45 minutes to your Amman Hotel, check in, remainder of the day free.
Day 2: Amman City Tour – Amman Hotel (B)
After breakfast start your day with a private city tour of Amman. On the Citadel you will see remains from 3 different periods and have a panorama view over the capital. In the traditional area of downtown we have a look at the Roman Theater from 2nd century before we head to the modern parts of the city. We visit the Royal Automobile Museum (Tuesdays closed) exhibiting classic cars of the late King Hussein are exhibited. Another option in the same area is the visit of the Children's Museum, the only one of its kind in the whole Middle East. After an exciting day return to your hotel.
Day 3: Amman Hotel - Jerash – Dead Sea Hotel (B)
In the morning we drive ca. 50 km in the north to Jerash. This is the best preserved Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. You enter the historical place via Hadrian's Arch, continue to Oval Plaza, the Roman Colonnaded Street. We end the day with a drive to your Dead Sea Hotel. Check in, leisure time at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, where you can float on salty waters.
Day 4: Dead Sea Hotel – Kerak Castle – Petra Hotel (B)
Today we leave in southern direction to Petra, which will be drive from up to 3 hours. En route we visit the Crusader castle Kerak, perched on a rocky hill with impressing underground halls and corridors. From here we continue to your hotel in Petra where the rest of the day is free.
Day 5: Petra visit – Petra Hotel (B)
Breakfast, then start the visit of the rock city Petra. If you like to you can take a short horse ride or walk to the narrow gorge, the Siq, from where you go on to the beautiful Treasury. From there you can continue to the Street of Facades and the Royal Tombs. Overnight in Petra.
Day 6: Petra – Wadi Rum Desert - Camp (B, D)
Half day free to discover Petra on your own account, relax at the hotel or stroll in the souvenir shops. Check out at noon from your hotel, in the afternoon we drive 1.5 hrs to Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. Explore the area – following the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia - by 4x4 adventurous Jeep tour, stopping at Nabatean rock inscriptions and sand dunes. After the amazing sunset you will have dinner at a Bedouin styled camp, where you spend also the night in tents. You make the magnificent experience of the starry desert sky.
Day 7: Wadi Rum Camp – Aqaba Hotel (B)
Breakfast at camp, make an authentic desert experience with a ride on a camel, the "ship of the desert". We leave the desert behind and hit the road to Aqaba at the Red Sea, for check in at your hotel. Rest of the day free.
Day 8: Aqaba at leisure (B)
Leisure day in Aqaba, Jordan's only seaport. Relax at the beach or try one of the water activities to discover the varied marine life like snorkeling or a glass bottom boat ride (not included). Overnight at hotels.
Day 9: Aqaba Hotel – Amman Hotel (B)
Latest check out at noon from Aqaba hotel, then transfer 3.5 hours back to Amman, where the rest of the day is free. Overnight hotel.
Day 10: Departure Amman Airport (B)
Breakfast, transfer to Amman Airport to say farewell and board your flight.
