Day 1: Arrival Amman Amman Hotel Upon arrival to Queen Alia Airport our representative welcomes you with a sign after you exit the customs area. Transfer to the hotel in Amman for overnight. Day 2: Amman City Tour Jerash Dead Sea Beach Amman Hotel (B) Start the day with a city tour in Amman. Visit the Amphitheater and the Jordan Folklore Museum and the Citadel. After we drive in the north of Jordan to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. We visit the spectacular Forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis. The Dead Sea is our next destination, with 400 meters below sea level the lowest point on earth. You have the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea and experience the feeling not to sink in water. Back to hotel in Amman for overnight. Day 3: Amman Hotel Madaba Mt. Nebo King's Way Kerak Petra Hotel (B) After breakfast drive to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the promised land before he died. You visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land. We proceed to Madaba, to view the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George's church. Afterward we drive to Kerak along the famous ancient biblical caravan route the King's Way. We have a short stop in Wadi Al-Mujib, a great wide valley with magnificent geological formation. Visit in Kerak the famous Crusader castle built in 1132/34 by King Baldwin I. of Jerusalem. Continue to Petra for overnight at hotel. Day 4: Petra Visit Aqaba Hotel (B) Today visit the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Start the trip on horse back or on foot to the canyon, the so called Siq, and walk to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Among other monuments you will see are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. In the late afternoon drive 1.5 hours to Aqaba for overnight. Day 5: Aqaba leisure (B) After breakfast free day to enjoy the Red Sea resort of Aqaba. Just relax, explore the duty free shopping facilities or have fun with popular water activities like swimming, snorkeling or diving (not included). Overnight in Aqaba. Day 6: Aqaba Hotel Amman Airport (B) Dependent from your departure time transfer for about 4 hours to Amman Airport to say farewell and board your flight.
